One of the few certainties in life is that none of us are here forever. It is also true that living as we do in a country with complex legal & administrative processes, we should all have a Will to organise our affairs when we do die. Dying without a Will (called “intestate") can make it more difficult for those we leave behind.
There are financial aspects to consider, but there are other equally important matters which need to be dealt with which can be simply recorded in a legally binding Will to ensure that what you want to happen after your death, does happen. We can help you to make sure that it does.
Writing a Will to protect you and your family is something many of us put off doing. Once it is done, there is a tremendous sense of relief that we have finally put in place arrangements which make sure that all is as we would like it to be in the event of our death.
Some of the questions which need consideration when making a Will are:

• Are you living with a partner and not married?
• Do you think that your spouse will inherit everything automatically?
• Have you considered Inheritance Tax?
• Do you want to protect the value of your home?
• Are you recently divorced or about to be divorced?
• Do you have a Will and are you about to marry or have a Civil Partnership?
• Do you want to make sure that someone does not benefit from your estate?
• Do you own a business?
• Are you worried about what will happen to your pet?
• Do you want to make a gift to a friend, to a charity or to a favourite club?
• Do you own an investment property with friends or relatives?
• Are there family heirlooms that you need to protect?
• Do you want to specify your funeral wishes?
A home visit will be arranged to take you through the process, and provided that we have all of the required information, you will have bound and finished Wills within 10 days. Your Wills will be both professionally written and fully insured.
